Mothers Day Handprint Flowers

Mothers Day Handprint Flowers

We are still having fun making Spring and Mothers Day projects.  Last weekend my little one made these cute hand print flowers.  She just loves painting and doing handprints had so much fun with this just like our Handprint Flower Bags, and well I think they came out great!

This project would make a great card or you can frame it and make a pretty keepsake too.  We did hand prints with both her hands so the flowers would be in different directions.  I had to draw the lines for the stems since she is only two but if you do this with older children they can do that them selves.

I also like to use paper plates when we paint, it makes clean up a LOT easier and actually worked great with this since she could just put her hand right in it.  If you don’t want to do that though, you can always use a paint brush and paint the child’s hand or they can paint their own hand.

Check out our SPRING  and MOTHERS DAY boards on Pintrest for more fun ideas!

Directions

Have your child put their hand in the paint, you can use a paint brush to make sure it is colored all the way.
Then have your child place their hand on the card stock
You can have them use different colors and switch hands so not all the hand prints are the same
Then paint some green stems and you have your hand print flowers!
The kids will be so proud to give their special gift to mom or grandma, and it makes a great keepsake!

This is precious! I have seen an individual flower made like this with one hand, but I love how this is a bunch/bouquet of flowers! I have 4 children so this would be something great for the grandmothers all in one! Thanks so much for the creative idea:)
