Crescent Dinner Pockets

Crescent Dinner Pockets

I made these for crescent dinner pockets the other night and the whole family loved them.  I prepared the filling early in the day so that I did not have much to do when dinner time came around, I love recipes where I can get stuff ready ahead of time.

I also think this crescent dinner pocket recipe is a great one to play with.  I think in the future some of the things I plan to try with this idea is pizza filling, cheeseburger filling, and chili n cheese.  I think you could stick just about anything in the crescents and they would be yummy.

Make sure to check out some of our food board on Pintrest to get some more ideas on things the kids will love to eat.

Yummy Recipes

1 green pepper
1 yellow onion
1pd lean ground beef
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
2 packages crescent rolls

Preheat oven to 375 degrees
Finley chop green pepper and onion.
Sauté green pepper and onion for 4 min then add ground beef and cook till beef is brown.  Drain excess fat.
Separate crescent rolls and stretch to make a little larger.  Then put 1 spoon full of beef mixture in center of roll and add 1 tbs of cheddar cheese.
Fold over the three sides of crescent rolls to form a pocket (you may need to pinch sides together to close pocket).
Place pockets on cookie sheet and bake for 11 to 15 min.
Then eat and enjoy these yummy pockets for dinner!
