Welcome to We Made That!

I am Tracey a work from home mother of two, who one day thought I needed to spend more time with my girls and so we started crafting together.  Our crafts quickly turned into this blog and has grown from just crafts to include some recipes and science projects as well.  We pretty much will make or do anything that is fun and then share our projects with you so you can do them with your family!

When I started this blog my girls were 4 and 9 months old, this was back in 2011.  So you will find a wide range of activities for kids of all ages since they are still growing and our projects change based on what they can do and what they enjoy at the time.

Because both my kids are girls you will find a lot of projects geared toward girls, however don’t let that fool you.  My oldest likes to get messy and loves bugs so there are plenty of projects here that your boys will enjoy too.

A little more about me!

I grew up in the big city of Miami, Florida and now currently live out in the country in the Mid-West.  The change has been great and I just love living closer to nature.  Because of this during the spring (when I am too excited to stay inside anymore after winter) you will find we tend to do a LOT of projects outside.  I am still getting use this this winter thing (there is no winter in Miami, just HOT Summer and hot summer).

I hope you all find our stuff entertaining and that you come back regularly to see what we have been up too!

Tracey~The bars are so cute, and your crafting partners are adorable! These look perfect for a school party! I would be thrilled if you would link your bars to my “Get Your Blarney On” link party! It’s all about celebrating St. Patrick’s Day! http://bit.ly/1luIm3M
    Hope to see you there!

    Hello Tracey,

Family is a priority, especially the children. Would you permit me to send you a link to a Children’s Health Study established in 1999 involving over 150,000 families and backed by 22 years of World Wide Clinical Health Studies?

We made that decision. And my argument is that you can t divorce that from the history of looking at black people as though they have some sort of predilection towards criminality.
